NARSING

Kasalukuyan, ako ay isang estudyante ng Trinity University of Asia. St. Luke’s College of nursing.

KNOW MEEE.:)

MEEEE. Profiles like this always require things to introduce one self and makes me think of things I usually not think. I have nothing against these kinds of inquiry, I just stated what my mind wanted to relay and I know, and you ought to know that I have random things in mind which I also randomly say or express in many ways I can. First thing, I'm RV and that's all I want to be called. I have this addiction to reading and having my books inside my room and never to part from them since, I kind of have this feeling that I’ll die without them. I wanted to see them each time I open my eyes and before I fall into deep slumber. I have read hundreds but like in Love I'm still waiting for the right one to come. That'll cause me to have sleepless nights, tachycardia (increased heart rate), butterflies in my stomach, and spark that cannot be seen but can be felt. I love to eat and I'm proud to say I don't gain much wait even I eat too much to the extent of gluttony.

EVERYONE HAS A LITTLE DIRTY LAUNDRY

In the midst of reading my newly bought book; Political Scandal and enjoying my white Chocolate oreo coffee, I suddenly thought of things about our past and present politicians. I thought of the Marcos era and now the Aquino regime. I thought of all the cries of the oppressed, people who fought for their rights, and youth nowadays who are very enthusiastic of being heard by the government. WARNING: I speak for myself with all I’m going to say here. First and foremost, I am generalizing my whole point and I’m not pertaining to any person in particular. All I wanted here is to share my thoughts nothing else. Personally, I admire all the people who can stand and fight for their rights which are all stated in the constitution. I admire the youth’s enthusiasm seen in the last elections to be heard and participate in the decision making of who’s going to lead our country next. For me, these are all heroic actions that I think needed to be honored. But my question to myself is; Are all t

TUBERCULOSIS: Not just for urban poor

Tuberculosis (TB) has been around for centuries. Although it is believed to be a disease usually found only in the urban poor, it has affected well known personalities all over the world. The most famous Filipino who contracted and later died because of Tb is Manuel L. Quezon, the first president of Commonwealth era. TB was known before as ‘consumption’, since it appeared to consume its victims from within. It was called phthisis by the ancient Greeks. Hippocrates, the father of Medicine, noted phthisis as the most widespread disease of his time. And right now, still, TB affects an astounding number of people throughout the globe. In 2007, there were an estimated of 13.7 million chronic active cases, 9.3 new cases and 1.8 million deaths, mostly in developing countries. The incidence of tuberculosis all over the globe is not uniform; about 80% of all the cases were surveyed in most Asian and African countries while about 3-10% only found in US countries. THE ORANGE GIRL By JOSTEIN GAARDER              Does Sophie’s World ring a bell? Well it sure will if you took up Philosophy during your freshmen or sophomore year. The said book, in all philosophy subjects is always mentioned or even considered as one of the references. If you have Sophie’s inquisitive mind who loved the mind twisting riddles and brain bugging mysteries of the philosopher surely love another bestseller of Mr. Jostein Gaarder, “The Orange Girl”.             The Norwegian author originally entitled the novel “Appelsinpiken” and hit the bookshelves in 2003. Right now, it is translated in over 40 languages and still selling worldwide.             The story began one winter day, Goerg Roed arrived from school and her grandparents and mom and stepdad were sitting in the living room waiting for him. He thought of things he might have done wrong but there was none. His grandmother said that she found an envelope on the red push chair Georg used to walk on when he was sti
