For all we know, Christmas time is something most people get excited about...but not for me..
Why? I really don't know. I once 'scolded' myself for being so naive about this issue. I know it's a time for get together s, parties, and all but how come i don't get excited about it? Should i consult a psychiatrist to analyze my condition? i hope not..Anywaaaaayy.. What's the sense of this entry?
I'll tell you..or should i say myself...about this contention that's boggling my mind. Even the ants know that Philippines is a democratic country, and that people enjoy the freedom to fully express themselves in various ways. But have you ever thought that major decisions regarding our country lies only in the hands of people who are famous for their acting, singing, dancing abilities, people who posted the most tarpaulins on the streets during elections and those who look good on tv. Democracy. The masses voted for these people. I say...It's deceit not democracy. If this is a free country, why are there people who are not educated? who are hungry? who are living in shanties? who ride on to senseless gimiks of politicians? Crab mentality.
I'm not saying this to insult anyone, it's just reality.
The government maintained an uneducated group of people for them to amass their votes and magnetize their minds to the idea that they are doing their 'jobs'. They make them believe that a dancing political candidate can save the Philippines from poverty. Great!
Why am i whining about this unending issue? It's been present for quite a while and still nothing happened.
The solution is to make one's voice heard and make people not just hear the reality but listen to it. There are a lot of things that the government in collaboration with the media is not telling us. Truth that is kept from the Filipinos. Is Philippines really a democratic country? Maybe in the entertainment scene..but not in politics.
For how long will Philippines be sleeping? I hope not forever.. All she needs is a leader picked by God, educated citizens to uplift the potentials of every Filipino and...love.;)
